we had this really huge, ugly and dusty projector that used to live in the loft. i got it down one day and discovered lots of slides i didn't know existed. i just wanted to see what would happen if i took photos of the image on the wall. i don't know if it worked that well, but i quite liked the black spaces that kept on appearing. this is an ongoing project when i can be bothered to set it up again.
